![]() ![]() In future we will work on a deeper integration with StartHQ. VersionEye is already integrated into the StartHQ search. And let us know what you think on Twitter and Google+. It’s not another email newsletter with a never ending link collection.Ĭheck it out today and give it a try. In each section there are never more than 3 links! And they are always important to me. I really like the format because it’s short. The StartHQ Newsletter is one of the few newsletters I’m really reading, because it shows me the newest blog posts from my favorite Web Apps. That’s awesome! Isn’t it?Īnother really cool feature is the email newsletter. The company StartHQ itself doesn’t have really access to your cloud services. If you are logged in into your favorite Apps, the StartHQ Chrome AddOn can search through them and offer your deep links to your Cloud Content. The unified search works through the extension, which is also available for Firefox, Safari and Opera. If you don’t know where you stored a document, simply search through all your web apps with StartHQ. I get results from GMail, StackOverflow, DuckDuckGo, Twitter, GitHub and VersionEye. Let’s say I trigger a “MongoID” search on my StartHQ dashboard. In that way I can use the same Tab Launcher over all my devices.īut the coolest feature is the unified search over all my favorite web apps. it is not showing the badge count as expected Expected Behavior. But in material top navigator when I apply the same thing. The cool thing here is that I can customize my Tab Launcher with the apps I like and everything is stored in the cloud. So that it is very easy to show the badge/notification count. This works over the StartHQ Chrome extension. Everytime I open a new tab in Chrome I see my StartHQ dashboard. I don't think this is a good approach as it has its own NavigationPage so that it should utilize its own navigation instead of the parent's.StartHQ is one of the few tools I’m using every day! It is my default Tab Launcher for Chrome. ![]() Moreover, I noticed that your MessagePageViewModel used the parent tabbed view model's navigation. Public MessagePageViewModel(INavigation navigation, Master_PageViewModel viewModel)Īt last, trigger the method in your refresh command: public ICommand RefreshCommand Messages = new MessagePageViewModel(Navigation, this) Īnd change your message page view model's constructor: Master_PageViewModel parentViewModel You have to pass the parent tabbed view model to your MessagePageViewModel like: public Master_PageViewModel(INavigation navigation) It is not the parent tabbed page's binding context so the tab's badge won't be updated even though the GetCounter has been triggered. This is because you created a new instance of Master_PageViewModel in your RefreshCommand. ![]() Private async Task MessageDetails(object obj)Īwait Navigation.PushAsync(new MessageDetailsPage(.)) MessagesList = new ObservableCollection(msg) MessageDetailsCommand = new Command(async (object obj) => await MessageDetails(obj)) ReloadCommand = new Command(async () => await ReloadPage()) Public MessagePageViewModel(INavigation navigation) Master_PageViewModel vm = new Master_PageViewModel(Navigation,multiMediaPickerService) Master Tab Page ViewModel: public class Master_PageViewModel : INotifyPropert圜hanged This.BindingContext = vm = new Master_PageViewModel(Navigation) Public partial class MasterTabPage : TabbedPage If anyone can help i will be very grateful. When i Navigate to view the message it updates the database of that the message has been read, I then navigate back to the tabbed page with a popasync, I then pull to refresh which executes the call to get amount of messages read but it not updating the the counter, if i put a break point on the GetCounter method i see it is updating the counter with the right amount but not changing in on the badge. So I have a call to retrieve the amount of unread messages from the database which is populating into the counter on app load. I am having trouble updating the counter. I have a badge on one of the tabs that has a counter which shows how many messages there are. I populate all my other tab pages, I have a viewmodel that binds to the Parent tab page and viewmodels for each of the other Tab pages. I have a App that uses tabbed pages, In the xaml of the Parent tab page ![]()
